We are super excited to announce the launch of Jamie Chang's first in-person type design course at The Combine! The course will be hosted at @thecombine_, and will run from Jan 10th - Feb 28th 2026 (8 weeks, 42 hours total).

You’ll learn the full process of making a typeface, from calligraphy and sketching, to digitizing your design in the Glyphs app, to the ins and outs publishing your own typefaces.

The course will be limited to 12 participants. No advanced type design knowledge required.

Statistically, the first time many men receive flowers is at their funeral. We’d like to change that!

The workshop is for men and anyone who wants to make flowers for the men in their life, and for those who are curious about trying something creative, even if they’ve never done anything like this before.

You’ll be working with a curated selection of long-lasting blooms and fresh greenery to create your own arrangement to take home.

Two Whimsical Florists is a Toronto-based floral studio specializing in long-lasting, design-forward arrangements and installations. They work across weddings, events, and creative projects, with a focus on approachable design and encouraging people to try florals in ways that feel accessible.

Acid Jazz is our live series where Jazz and Hip-Hop collide — bringing improvisation, groove, and classic Hip-Hop reimagined for the stage. Each volume features a rising MC performing alongside our house band, blending original material with live interpretations of some of our favourite Hip-Hop classics.

For Volume 15, we’re thrilled to welcome Insyt as our guest MC. A member of the rising Hip-Hop collective 4DaTribe, Insyt has been making waves internationally, and we’re excited to experience his music live in this intimate setting.

After joining us as a special guest during our Outkast jam with Listening Room, Insyt returns by popular demand — this time front and centre at Bevy Combine. He’ll showcase his sharp lyricism alongside our all-star house band:

Acid Jazz Vol. 15

For this upcoming competition, designers will be tasked with creating ready to wear looks using pre-existing garments. These garments might have been previously discarded or overlooked, but designers will have the opportunity to breathe new life into them with their visionary concepts and designs.

Selected designers will have two live, 8-hour working days to perfect their craft. This will be followed by a Grand Finale Runway Show. The audience will have the chance to cast their votes and determine the ultimate winner.
