Join us for a hands-on evening of digital comic creation led by illustrator Andy Akangah. This workshop offers intermediate learners the opportunity to practice the art of sketching, inking, and colouring using Clip Studio Paint Pro (license provided). You’ll rotate through guided sessions that explore character design, scene lighting, and manga-style portrait techniques—plus a little break to recharge.

Andy Akangah is the artist behind AKARTS, known for blending hip-hop and comic book culture in pieces featured by Complex Canada, CTV, CBC, and NBA Canada. He’s taught at the University of Ottawa, Fleming College, and the Ottawa Art Gallery, with clients like Giant Tiger and Kids Help Phone.
